Everyone’s heard the sound bites and seen the tweets about how an economic downturn is the best time to start a company — but that can be cold comfort for startup founders who are wondering what to do when demand for their product plummets or if no one seems willing to back their next round.

With that in mind, Eniac Ventures has organized a virtual roundtable bringing together investors and entrepreneurs who’ve made it through past recessions, and we’ll be asking them to share the gritty details about what they’ve learned along the way. The panelists are:

  • Dennis Crowley, co-founder and co-chairman of Foursquare, and before that the co-founder of Dodgeball (acquired by Google)
  • Jess Lee, currently a partner at Sequoia Capital, and previously the co-founder and CEO of Polyvore (acquired by Yahoo)
  • Alan Patricof, co-founder and chairman emeritus at Greycroft — a legend who’s spent more than 50 years in venture capital

The event will be moderated by Eniac co-founder Nihal Mehta — a five-time startup founder himself.

The roundtable begins at 2:15pm Eastern on Wednesday, June 29. Sign up here! (If you can’t make it, we’ll be sharing the full recording and clips after.)
